- Slack and sear the lobster cake until golden or until 165°F internal temperature and then melt the cheese on it.
- Cut the doughnut in half and toast the inside with some of the rendered bacon fat.
- Arrange the lobster cake and cheese on the doughnut, add bacon and top with the other doughnut half.
- Serve hot.
