German Pretzel with Beer Cheese Crab Dip

Ingredients

8 Ounces Jumbo Crab Sensations® (Item# 004630)
1/8 Cup Butter
1/8 Cup Flour, All Purpose
1/3 Cup Beer, German Lager
1/4 Ounce Milk, Whole
1 Cup Cheddar, Sharp, Shredded
1 Tablespoon Tabasco Sauce
1 Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
1 Tablespoon Spicy Brown Mustard
To Taste Salt
To Taste Pepper
4 Each Bavarian Pretzel

Directions

  1. In a sauce pot slowly melt butter and stir in the flour and cook for approximately 3 minutes constantly whisking.
  2. Add the beer while whisking and then the milk, let cook gently and thicken.
  3. Add the Tabasco, Worcestershire sauce and the mustard.
  4. Saute the Jumbo Crab Sensations in a separate pan.
  5. Then slowly add cheese until soft and creamy. Add the sauteed Jumbo Crab Sensations. Season and serve with a warm Bavarian style pretzel.
